Offering standard 20' and 40' ocean shipping containers and the following specialized equipment:
  • 40' and 45' High Cubes
  • 20' & 40' Open Top
  • 20' & 40' Reefer (refrigerated containers)
  • Full Container Load (FCL)

A full container load (FCL) is cargo moving in a single rigid, sealed, reusable metal container in which the merchandise is shipped by an ocean carrier.

All containers are capable of withstanding damage from stresses that may occur during normal use and continuous transportation so that your freight remains safe and undamaged during transport.

Door-to-door transportation service can usually be arranged including drayage (from the port to a warehouse) for full containers. FCL shipments can often be helpful in lowering shipping costs.

    Less Than Container Load (LCL)

A less than container load (LCL) shipment is a shipment of cargo that does not fill a container and is merged with cargo for more than one consignee or from more than one shipper going to the same destination port.

Merging freight from multiple shippers into one container helps to reduce the shipping cost for companies that don't have a need for an entire container load of stock so you only pay for the space you use inside.

Since the freight is combined into a single container, LCL freight costs are based on a dollar amount per cubic meter making it much more cost-effective to ship goods in smaller volumes.

Once the freight arrives at the port of destination we carefully de-consolidate the shipment and arrange delivery to the final destination.

Brookstone has an extensive network of FCL and LCL carriers who can accommodate almost any commercial shipment.
